Commission attends ABU’s “Women with the wave” forum

Maldives Broadcasting Commission has attended Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union’s “Women with the wave” forum held in Macau.

Commission’s Administrative Officer Asma Hassan represented Commission at the forum held in conjunction with ABU General Assembly activities.

The forum aims to encourage diversity and inclusion in the media across Asia Pacific region through conversations, case studies and resources that promote change and make a a difference to the representation and reflection of communities in media workplaces and across content and services.

In this forum Asma Hassan gave a presentation on “Broadcasting in Maldives: A gender perspective”.
