Issuance of frequency license

In compliance with the new broadcasting regulation, Maldives Broadcasting Commission issued two companies with frequency license.
Among the seven frequency bid winners Asna Maldives Pvt. Ltd and Broadcasting Maldives Pvt Ltd is given terrestrial license to broadcast throughout Maldives. Asna Maldives Pvt Ltd is to broadcast through radio station Capital Maldives while Broadcasting Maldives Pvt Ltd broadcasts Dhi Tv.
Furthermore, the remaining companies are informed that frequency license will be issued upon submission of due paper work.
