This media release is concerning the various requests from the public received by the Broadcasting Commission to acquire license and terrestrial frequencies for TV / Radio Broadcasting.
The Commission informs that it has commenced work on the formulation of the frequency plan and regulation. In addition, the Commission has also commenced work on reviewing the regulation on the issuance of licenses to private broadcasters which has been in place from March 2007.
In view of the above, the Commission is pleased to state that it will open for the submittance of applications for frequencies and broadcast licenses as soon as these policies and regulations are finalized.
