Raaje Tv selected for the conference on “Role of Media in Conflict Resolutions and Peace Building”

Journalist from Raaje Television has been selected to participate on a conference organized by SAARC Information Center (SIC) on “Role of media in conflict resolutions and peace building” which is to be held 24-27 April in Sri Lanka.
Raaje TV was selected to participate on this conference as they were the only broadcasting station who showed interest and attended the draw held to select a broadcaster to the conference. Aminath Farah, Video Journalist will be participating in this conference.
The aim of this conference is to train media on understanding their role in resolving conflict in the society and to share the experience with other SAARC countries. SIC will be providing accommodation and other expenses while the broadcaster is to bear the cost of air travel to Colombo.
