Broadcasting Commission has requested broadcasters to inform the Commission prior to commencement of broadcasting service, or interruption of service or the change of name, logo or jingle of the broadcasting station.
Following is the Announcement Commission made with regard to this.
“It has come to the Commission’s notice broadcasters are not complying with the Broadcasting regulation enforced under the broadcasting law, as licensed broadcasters fail to inform to the commission prior to commencement of broadcasting service or interruption of service or change of name, logo or jingle used to distinguish broadcasting stations.
“Therefore we advise all broadcasters to pay more attention to the following.
“To commence broadcasting within 12 months after obtaining license from the Commission
“In case of interruption of service, the broadcasting station has to act as stated in the 22nd clause of the broadcasting regulation.
“To inform the Commission prior to any change of name, logo or jingle used to distinguish a channel from the other.
