Community Broadcasting Regulation Formulation Work Begins

Maldives Broadcasting Commission has begun work of formulating Community Broadcasting Regulation.
Regulation formulation work would be undertaken by broadcasting consultant Dr. Murray Green, who would be working with the Commission with UNDP collaboration.
During his stay in the Maldives, Dr. Murray Green would meet with stakeholders and broadcasters in gathering information for regulation formulation.
Dr. Green has previously worked with the Commission with UNDP collaboration in formulating a research on introducing Community Broadcasting in the Maldives.
As part of regulation formulation work, Dr. Green today met with Broadcasting Commission members and held discussions on how the work would be carried out.
