Maldives Broadcasting Commission formulates and commences to implement its Information Dissemination Policy

Maldives Broadcasting Commission has formulated and started to implement a policy on Information dissemination and publicizing.  

The policy which was formulated by the Commission contains two parts. Firstly, the voluntary publishing of information with regard to the Commission’s work and activities and secondly, disclosing information upon specific requests from the public regarding Commission’s decisions, services and work without hindering the right to information in accordance with the procedures described in the policy.

In this policy Commission has specified the procedures for these two aspects of information dissemination. According to the policy any request for information is to be made through a “Information Requisition Form” which is published on Commission’s website and is available from Commission’s front office.

Information dissemination policy has been endorsed by the Commission and became effective upon its publication on the Commission’s website
