Maldives Broadcasting Commission seeks cooperation from Maldives Media Council in formulating a guideline for broadcasters to adhere to while covering demonstrations.
Stating the decision of the Commission to formulate a guideline for broadcasters to adhere to while covering demonstrations, the Commission in a letter sent to Maldives Media Council stressed on the importance of both institutions working together to put forth such a guideline.
The Commission perceives the importance of such a guideline to pave the way forward for broadcasters and hence requests Media Council to schedule a meeting at their convenience within the week to begin the formulation of the first draft of the guideline.
