Opportunity open to send Applications to participate in Senior Editors Conference 2013 organized by ICRC

Opportunity to send applications are open for Editors and Senior journalists to participate in Senior Editors Conference organized by International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
Upon ICRC invitation to Maldives Broadcasting Commission to make a nomination for the conference on “Violence and Conflict Reporting: The media debates its role” Commission has publicly announced for interested Senior Editors and Journalists for their application. Upon receiving the applications by the deadline, Broadcasting Commission will select an applicant based on the criteria requested by ICRC.
The nominated candidate from Maldives is to speak on “Reporting at Sea: Do Media have enough means and knowledge to report” in this conference held in New Delhi on 8th to 9th October 2013.
ICRC will sponsor the selected candidate’s air fare, food and accommodation for the trip.
According to the announcement made by the Commission The deadline to send application to participate in this conference is 31 July 2013.
