Team of broadcasters and an employee from the Commission departs to China

A team of broadcasters and an employee from the Maldives Broadcasting Commission departed to China to attend the “Seminar on Radio and TV for Senior Technique Management from Developing Countries”, an opportunity offered by the Chinese Embassy.
The seminar, held from April 16 to 29 in Beijing, is organized by the China Broadcasting International Economic and Technical Corporation. The training focuses on media development policies, new technologies, and sharing China’s experience in the broadcasting field.
Participants include:
- Aishath Azma – Manager, TV Production, Public Service Media
- Abdullah Azman – Broadcast Engineer/Software Developer, Sun Siyam Media
- Mohammed Shaheem – Deputy Station Manager, Channel 13
- Saniyya Hussain – Assistant Director, Legal Affairs, Maldives Broadcasting Commission
During the seminar, participants will visit leading radio stations in China to learn about their operations, content creation, and innovative practices.
The Commission extended its sincere gratitude to the Chinese High Commissioner to the Maldives for providing this valuable opportunity and for the continued support in developing human resources in the broadcasting sector. The Commission looks forward to future collaboration to further strengthen this partnership.
