Members and staff of the Maldives Broadcasting Commission sign an integrity pledge today.
In a campaign organized by Anti-Corruption Commission, Maldives Broadcasting Commission is the first among independent commissions who have signed the integrity pledge on working towards serving the nation and its citizens with respect, dignity and with integrity.
In the ceremony held this afternoon to sign the pledge, the President of Anti-Corruption Commission congratulated Broadcasting Commission for being the first independent Commission to sign this pledge. In his speech he also highlighted the importance of minimizing corruption in Maldives.
President of the Maldives Broadcasting Commission, Mohamed Shahyb also spoke at this ceremony. In his speech, he suggested the importance of honoring the organizations that operates without any corruption with an award in order to encourage and give recognition to their work. He also stated the practice of Broadcasting Commission in seeking Anti-Corruption Commission guidance in cases of any doubts or grey areas.
A session was also held at today to build awareness among staff of Broadcasting Commission on Integrity in work.
