“Sensitization Workshop for Media-on reporting in emergencies and situations of violence is postponed

“Sensitisation workshop for media-on reporting in emergencies and situation of violence” that is to be held from 3-4th July is postponed for a later date. This workshop was organized by Maldives Broadcasting Commission and Maldives Red Crescent.
The reason for delay was as adequate number of participants did not register the objective of such a workshop could not be achieved.
The aim of the workshop is to increase awareness and responsibility of media in reporting in disaster situations, emergencies and volatile situations
